We are a chapter of the Good Sams club. Our members are generally in and around the Fort Worth and Dallas Metro area.

Officers in the Frontier Sams club serve a maximum two-year terms. Our 2008 President is Dick Durham of Fort Worth, TX. Frontier Sams members are mostly  retired or near retirement.  We presently have about 24 couples and a few singles that have lost their spouses. Our members have a variety of rigs including Class A, B & C motor homes, travel trailers and fifth wheels.

We have 4-day campouts monthly from Thursday to Sunday. Many come Wednesday to have more time to fellowship. Our campouts consists of dining out as a group, card and domino games, group games, a short business meeting, potluck dinners and a Sunday breakfast. We tour local places of interest, shop, attend entertainment functions and local festivals. No smoking is allowed inside our meeting rooms. Our regular campouts are normally within a 100 mile radius of the Metroplex. Once or twice a year, we will take a longer trip to some place interesting. 

We encourage our members to attend the Texas Good Sam Samboree's held at various locations in April and October and the North Texas mini-rally held in our area in September. We publish and distribute an informative monthly newsletter.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Be a Good Sam member and visit, as a guest, for 2 campouts. On your second visit, you may apply for membership to the Frontier Sams Chapter. Annual dues are $18 per rig. We are always looking for a few folks who enjoy the RV lifestyle! Come visit with us. There is no obligation.
