Ramblin

The Good Sam Club held the first Texas State Rally at Fun-N-Sun City in Harlingen Texas on March 26 - 28, 1971.

A group from the Dallas - Fort Worth area met and applied to the National Good Sam Club for approval of the Ramblin Sams Chapter. In March 1971 it was approved and the Ramblin Sams was granted the first Charter in Texas.

As Ramblin' Sam members, we have enjoyed so many travels, monthly camp-outs and just plain old Texas fellowship that we each feel that This is our extended family.

As a Recreational Vehicle owner we invite you to come visit with us on any second week-end. Come and see for yourself how much fun we have. Our rally sites are reserved a year or more in advance. We camp within a 100 mile radius of the Dallas - Fort Worth area and have reasonable camping fees.
